Post-Pour Strip Steel Support is a temporary support system specially designed for the post pouring strip area in construction. It mainly consists of steel (such as steel pipes, steel sections, adjustable steel columns, etc.) and supporting connectors, used to provide continuous and stable vertical support for the concrete structures (such as floor slabs, beams, etc.) that have been poured on both sides of the post pouring strip before pouring, to prevent deformation, cracking, or even collapse of the structure due to self weight, construction loads, or temperature shrinkage.
Core role and design requirements
Core role:
Post pouring strip is a temporary construction joint reserved to solve problems such as shrinkage, temperature stress, and uneven settlement of large volume concrete. It needs to be poured after both sides of the structure have reached a certain strength (usually more than 28 days). During this period, the structures on both sides of the post pouring belt are in a "cantilever" state, and the steel supports need to bear the loads in this area (including the self weight of the structure, subsequent construction loads, etc.), ensuring the safety and stability of the structure, and avoiding quality accidents such as floor subsidence and beam cracking caused by insufficient support.
Design requirements:
The spacing, cross-sectional dimensions, and bearing capacity of the supports need to be calculated based on parameters such as the span of the post pouring strip, the load on both sides of the structure, and the construction period to ensure that the support system has sufficient stiffness and stability. At the same time, the support must not be shared with other surrounding support systems (such as full house scaffolding), and an independent load-bearing system must be formed to avoid any impact on the post pouring strip structure caused by the removal of support in other areas.
main features
Strong independence: The support of the post cast strip steel needs to be self-contained and separated from the surrounding formwork support system to ensure that the post cast strip support can still bear independently when the support is removed in other areas, avoiding structural instability.
Adjustable: Adjustable steel pillars are commonly used (such as steel pipe supports with top and bottom supports), which can accurately adjust the support height according to the elevation and flatness of the structure on both sides of the post pouring belt, ensuring tight support and reducing settlement.
High bearing capacity: The steel has high strength and can meet the long-term (weeks or even months) load bearing requirements of the post pouring zone area, with small deformation and effective control of structural settlement accuracy.
Good turnover: The steel material is sturdy and can be reused after inspection and repair, reducing construction costs. It is especially suitable for multiple post pouring strip projects or large building complexes.
Construction points
Installation timing: Simultaneously install the formwork support system on both sides of the post pouring belt to ensure stable support is formed before concrete pouring and avoid early deformation of the structure.
Spacing control: Determine the support spacing based on calculation (usually not greater than 1.2 meters, depending on the load), and set a cushion plate (such as steel plate) at the bottom of the pole to disperse pressure and prevent support sinking.
Stability guarantee: set horizontal tie rods, bottom sweepers and slant support to enhance the overall stability of the support system and resist horizontal forces (such as construction vibration, wind, etc.).
Demolition standard: Demolition can only be carried out in accordance with the principle of "dismantling from the middle to both sides, layer by layer" after the completion of the pouring of the post pouring concrete and the strength reaching the design requirements (usually not less than 90% of the design strength). Early or illegal demolition is strictly prohibited.
