How to Calculate the Quantity of Scaffolding Engineering
(1) Single item scaffolding
1. The quantity of external scaffolding and vertical enclosure works for buildings shall be calculated based on the length of the outer edge of the external wall, multiplied by the height from the outdoor floor to the top of the external wall in square meters. For wall piers and attached chimneys with a protruding width of less than 24cm outside the wall, the quantity of scaffolding works shall not be expanded. If it exceeds 24cm, it shall be expanded according to the dimensions shown in the diagram and included in the quantity of external scaffolding works. Not deducting the area occupied by door and window openings, empty circles, etc.
2. The quantity of scaffolding work is calculated based on the vertical projection area of the wall.
3. The independent column shall be calculated based on the quota item of single row scaffolding, and its quantity shall be calculated in m2 by adding 3.60m to the outer circumference of the column structure as shown in the diagram multiplied by the height.
When the distance between the indoor ceiling decoration surface and the designed indoor floor is more than 3.60m, the full scaffold should be calculated. After calculating the full scaffold, the wall decoration project will no longer calculate the scaffold. The construction quantity of the full scaffold is calculated based on the indoor net area in m2. When its height is between 3.60~5.20m, the basic layer is calculated. When it exceeds 5.20m, an additional layer is calculated for every 1.20m increase.
(2) Comprehensive scaffolding
1. The comprehensive scaffolding engineering quantity is calculated in square meters based on the total construction area of the building.
2. Single story buildings in the comprehensive scaffolding quota project refer to unit projects with one floor and one basement, while multi story buildings refer to unit projects with two or more floors (excluding basement floors).
3. For theaters and auditoriums with suspended ceilings, if the ceiling height is above 4.5m, the required full scaffolding can be calculated based on the quota for additional full scaffolding in theaters and auditoriums.
4. The comprehensive scaffolding quota project does not include vertical enclosure of buildings, vertical and horizontal protective frames, and protective railings, which should be calculated separately when needed.
When calculating according to the comprehensive scaffold quota, except for the single scaffold that can be added to the calculation according to the above regulations, no other scaffold shall be calculated.
